Denise is a classically trained ballet dancer, yogi and gym bunny - an excellent combination to bring to the barre! A natural fit with our team, she brings a passion for movement and fitness to her classes, and loves to share her wide range of skills and knowledge with her students.
Hayley studied Jazz, Ballet and Flamenco dance, and through these disciplines developed a deep understanding of body awareness. She broadened her training and later qualified with a Diploma in Aerobic Exercise, and was a full time teacher for many years.
With over 5 years of Pilates practice, Jal understands that the essence of exercise lies in the mind, body awareness and proper alignment to reap the full benefits of each movement. Jal began her barre fitness 2 years ago, which brought her to Barre 2 Barre Singapore.
Ali fell in love with exercise all over again on discovering Pilates five years ago and her passion just intensified when she started her BarreAmped journey in 2015 at Barre 2 Barre.
Content strategist by day, fitness addict by night. Cheryl keeps herself active with teaching barre, long distance runs & HIIT. Her childhood days were spent training in Chinese, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Street Jazz, and she got hooked onto barre the moment she tried the BarreAmped® method.
Originally from London, Emma left her career as a chartered tax advisor and came to Hong Kong back in 2017. She came across the studio and was immediately hooked.
Angela is an example of how anyone can transform themselves. She was neither sporty in school nor big on exercise, save for the occasional run. One day, stress build-up at work pushed her to go for a run to release some tension. The endorphin high kept her going back once a week, then twice a week, then thrice a week.
Jean trained with Barre 2 Barre in Koh Samui during the first teacher training and retreat, and has been practicing barre in the United States prior to moving to Singapore. She teaches part time at Orange Theory and is a full time CFO at Omincom Media.
Sonya is our resident photographer and a regular at the barre since 2015. She is family and we are proud to see her spread her wings into teaching after completing her teaching certification and apprenticing at our Hong Kong studio in 2018.
Seoen Lee is our first Barre 2 Barre instructor well-versed in Korean, Japanese and English. Her lifelong goal was to maintain her body age at 20. When she first came to Singapore and tried barre, she fell in love with how BarreAmped technique had made her feel healthier, stronger and more flexible.
From her first BarreAmped session in 2016, Steph felt an instant “click” that was needed to balance her affinity towards movement and desire to tone. She began practicing each day – and with each day became excited for the next day of more barre.
Violaine aka “V” is originally from France but has been living as an expat since she was 18. After spending many years working as a veterinary surgeon, she decided to diversify from furry and scaly animals to biped animals by becoming a barre instructor.

Woan is an avid fan of the barre movement and have been practicing barre as a student for 7 years in SG and LA, which kickstarted her fitness journey.
Originally from Denmark, Kirsten was teaching yoga and meditation in Singapore, when she fell in love with Qigong. Now back in Hong Kong, she is passionate about sharing this ancient wisdom of self-healing in an accessible and useful way.
Lynette is a warm-hearted individual who believes in living life to the fullest. She enjoys meeting people and building them up. She first started barre in 2016 after getting to know cofounder Jessica and was instnatly won over by how mentally sharp and energised she felt after the class.
