From Manila to Edinburgh, Mylène’s journey has always been about movement, across continents, careers, and ways of being. She found yoga and Pilates during her university years in Boston, and later fell in love with barre at the original Lotte Berk Studio in London. What began as a personal ritual became a life’s work in teaching, guiding, and holding space.
With over a decade of teaching experience and a background in luxury hospitality, she brings both structure and soul to every training – blending the clarity of Pilates, the elegance of barre, and the depth of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
She now specialises in our retreats and the introspective side of movement, offering teachers-in-training the tools to teach with presence, precision, and care. Her global perspective, shaped by living and working in over ten cities, adds richness and relatability to her work.
Now based in Scotland, Mylène continues to travel across Asia regularly to guide Barre 2 Barre Retreats, support Karen and Jess at our barre trainings, and connect with our teaching community. Her classes and trainings are an invitation to deepen your practice, embody your teaching, and move through life with grace.
